Pixar has always set the bar high when it comes to feature-length animated films, and The Good Dinosaur is no exception.\u00a0 Earlier last year, Inside Out was a critical and box office hit.\u00a0 A few months later The Good Dinosaur released to decent review and decent box office returns, and I don’t understand why.\u00a0 It was an awesome Western, and definitely worth your attention.<\/p>\n
The concept of the movie is that dinosaurs were not wiped out – the asteroid missed our planet and dinosaurs ended up living together with humans, but in this story dinosaurs are the more evolved species.\u00a0 As I said, at heart the movie is a Western, and a good on at that.\u00a0 Like True Grit, it is about proving your worth and doing whatever it takes to survive – doing the right thing.\u00a0 It is entertaining enough for adults and my kinds absolutely loved it.<\/p>\n
I’m sure a lot of you missed this one in its theatrical release, so I would recommend picking it up.<\/p>\n
