Fall is upon us, bring with it the end of summer and the beginning of cold weather.\u00a0 The silver lining is that TV is back.\u00a0 Here are my thoughts:<\/p>\n
\u00a0– The Michael J. Fox S<\/strong>how:\u00a0 I have always liked Michael J. Fox, and was kind of happy to see him back on TV, but his new show just isn’t funny.\u00a0 He is great, and I like the concept (he plays an ex-newsman with Parkinsons who is returning to work after a five year absence).\u00a0 I really like that he is able to make jokes at his own expense, and particularly about his battle with Parkinsons.\u00a0 But the show just didn’t make me laugh, and the cast was pretty bad with the exception of Fox.\u00a0 I’d skip this one.<\/p>\n – Brooklin Nine-Nine<\/strong>:\u00a0 Better then the Michael J. Fox Show and shows a lot of promise, but the first episode didn’t really do it for me.\u00a0 Andy Sandberg is playing the most normal character in the show, so it doesn’t really play to his comedic strenghts.\u00a0 Hopefully future episodes prove me wrong.\u00a0 The jury is still out.<\/p>\n – The New Girl\/Mindy Project<\/strong>: Both shows, specifically Mindy Project, struggle in the ratings.\u00a0 I think think it’s because men dismiss them due to their female leads and the fact that they just seem like girly shows.\u00a0 But they are not.\u00a0 The first two episodes this year have been the best of the series for both shows, and I think these are the two funniest shows on TV.\u00a0 I would check them out if you haven’t already.<\/p>\n – Parks & Rec:<\/strong> Back for another season, this has consistantly been the funniest show on TV for years that no one watches.\u00a0 The first episode wasn’t my favorite, and with the show losing some of its writers, I worry the quality might drop, but I love this show and will stick with it.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Fall is upon us, bring with it the end of summer and the beginning of cold weather.\u00a0 The silver lining is that TV is back.\u00a0 Here are my thoughts: \u00a0– The Michael J.
