I’m a movie fan, and Christmas is the perfect time to sit down with your family and watch some old favorites.\u00a0 Here are a few of mine (in no particular order):<\/p>\n
10. How the Grinch Stole Christmas – This is a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember.\u00a0 The story is timless, great animation.<\/p>\n
9.\u00a0 Christmas Vacation – One of the last funny things Chevy Chase did.\u00a0 Includes many classic moments.<\/p>\n
8. Scrooged – A very underrated take on Dicken’s Christmas Carol, Scrooged stars Bill Murray in his comedic prime in the title role.\u00a0 Not Murray’s best work, but has it’s moments and is still a must-watch for me around Christmas time.<\/p>\n
7. Arthur Christmas – I have to admit I wasn’t too excited to see this movie, but was pleasantly suprised at how funny it was.\u00a0 Just came out on video, great for the family.<\/p>\n
6. Home Alone – My favorite movie when I was eight, I still watch it whenever I catch it on TV.\u00a0<\/p>\n
5. A Christmas Story – Strange but suprisingly funny.<\/p>\n
4. Elf – Will Ferrell’s first breakout hit, Elf is a great family movie and is still among his best.\u00a0<\/p>\n
3. A Christmas Carol – I prefer the Muppet version.<\/p>\n
2. Gremlins – Not sure if this qualifies as a Christmas movie, but if it does, it’s one of my all-time favorites.\u00a0<\/p>\n
1. It’s Wonderful Life – This is the one movie I always watch around Christmas.\u00a0 It’s funny, heartwarming, and uplifting.\u00a0 James Stewart is my favorite actor, and this is one of his best performances.\u00a0<\/p>\n
