Movie Review: Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2
Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 was a particularly fun movie for me because it is the first movie I’ve seen in the theater with my son, who turns three this month. We tried it once before with Monsters University, but he only made it about 20 minutes. This time, he sat through the entire film and was fascinated.
Basically, the island from the first installment has been overrun by living, breathing food and it’s up to Flint Lockwood and his friends to stop them. Everything from cute talking strawberries to terrifying spider burgers come into play. Think Jurassic Park, but with food.
I really enjoyed the first movie, and I think this one is even better. I was laughing throughout. My son kept looking at me asking questions about the talking food, trying to make sense of everything. It’s a perfect movie for everyone from two an up.
